Gen-Turi on angled exhaust

Has anyone installed the Gen-Turi generator exhaust system on an angled exhaust? My exhaust is angled upward like in the pic which means I won't be able to fit the vertical part on top of the 90 that comes with the kit as it will lean into the coach. Bending the 90 from the kit open a bit may be an option but from my experience as an electrician a short 1.25" 90 like that will be impossible to cold bend (they actually use EMT), I could heat it with oxy-acetylene, or find/make an offset to fit my existing pipe. I called a couple of exhaust shops and they said they can't bend small stuff like that.
My other option is to make my own exhaust using flexible exhaust tubing fitted to PVC or 3" semi rigid aluminum duct.

How about cutting and welding a 1.5" pipe at the required angle?

That's a pretty good idea Bob, had not thought of it, thanks. Will monkey around with it and see if the Gen-Turi will attach to 1.5" pipe.

I had to cobble together my own connection because the provided pieces would not fit the "pretty" thick-walled chromed extension on my Winnebago Ultimate. And I use bungees to the window track/mirror etc to stabilize the upper part rather than attaching their solution to the coach w/ screws.

Why didn't we think of flexible exhaust pipe?

I have some flex but it's problematic as it won't stay in a fixed position by itself. I was able to open up a 90 by inserting one end into a length of 1.5" EMT and wedging the EMT under one of my tires then took a 5 foot length of 1.5" rigid pipe and slipped it over the other end and gradually opened up the 90 by leveraging the 1.5" rigid pipe. It took a lot of forceful applications but worked great and did not distort the ends because they fit tightly inside the 1.5" which acted as a support and kept it round. Thanks for all the ideas
