Gauges/Info Available for VMSpc on 05 Journey

I'm wondering which gauges and info are available for a 05 Journey 34H with a CAT C7 350 and Allison 3000MH?

I have the 9 pin diagnostic port. I saw some pics of an VMSpc screen in photos on this forum with it on a Journey, but I don't know the model as the poster has neglected to provide any such info in his profile.

Below is s jpg with some of the things on that monitor. This is confusing to me as reading the Silverleaf pages they mention things that Allison had, then removed then added - some around 2005.

Also, posting pics or links to your screen setups would be very helpful. Did you know you can save your layout and share them?

I'm not sure what you are asking. I have used the VMSpc for years on an 8.3 ISC Cummins. Almost anything I want to monitor is available, except the air pressure. Their software is available to download and play with. If you search for VMSpc you should see many layouts. You can select the engine you have and use the pid sniffer to find what is available to display.

Yep, as Norm says, almost everything is available on the VMSpc and the program is free to download and run although you will need the "jib" to connect to your RV. I ran it on a 10" Netbook when we had the '02 Dutch Star. The Magna has the 400 CL which is integrated into the rigs controls but the screen shows less than the VMSpc did.

"pid sniffer" - OK that's good. Probably in the manual that I have not read yet

That really is the question, what is available to monitor for my rig? I will give the sniffer a try.

Thanks, I have the USB Jib and a 11" Nextbook tablet. I confirmed it is working today. Now I just need to set it up and figure out where to mount it. I also already have RAM mount parts for the install.

Does anyone make a unit like this for the gas engines? I have the GM 454. I would like to have better engine and fuel info than I have.
