Gas Rear Engine Adventurer

I'm looking for some feedback of anyone familiar with the gasoline powered pusher. Thanks!

I think they were only built one year. They are Winnebago Destinations, not Adventurers. They were available with either gas or diesel on a Workhorse chassis.

Have only known one owner and he was not happy and traded shortly after he got it. Cabinets were so high his wife could not reach them. Sort of like an Edsel, nice car that did not make it. Orphan products make me shy away.

Winnebago Destination Gas Pusher
Sorry John, but that is simply not correct. WBGO built the Winnie Destination and the Itasca Latitude for at least two model years, maybe 3. The ones with a rear diesel motor were not Workhorse "UFO" chassis, they were Freightliner chassis (WCC never did get around to putting in a diesel, even though the brochures indicated they planned to do so.

WBGO used up the last 100 or so of their UFO's by building an ADVENTURER "Limited" in both the 37G and 39W floor plans. The Adventurer Ltd. offered a more "traditional" interior than the Destination/Latitude twins used. Ed

Do you have any specific questions, especially about the chassis?

I saw one for sale at a fairly attractive price and since I had never seen, or even heard of one before, I thought I'd ask for opinions. Just to give me more info to determine whether it was worth looking into further.
