Forza wind noise

I am new to this forum and can use some advice. I recently purchased a new 2016 Winnebago Forza 36 G. There is, to me, excessive wind noise emanating from the siteentry door. The dealer acknowledge the issue and adjusted the door unfortunately that did little to decrease or eliminate the noise, hence my question is this a normal condition or can I do something to decrease the noise?

:welcome: Check your gasket around the door. At night shine a flashlight towards the edges of the door from the inside, go completely around the door with your wife outside watching, if the gaskets are sealing good no light should be seen. If there is a failure she will see the light and will be able to tell you the location. You may need to add more gasket, should be a warranty item. Hopefully this helps, let us know how you do.

Welcome to the forum!

Tell us your results with the flashlight.

We have the 24T, so our door is a mid-door. We don't have any noticeable noise. But we sure have fun with the MH!

Our wind noise seems to be created by the mirrors.

Maybe it could be the door I will have to give it a flashlight test once I get her out of storage.

The flashlight test revealed no leaks around the door at all. I am now thinking it might be headwind noise. I hope not since it might be something we have to live with and is very annoying. Anyone else experiencing headwind noise?

Glad to see no door gasket leaks. As stated above it may be the mirrors. Good luck and as time passes you may just enjoy yourselves so much that the noise will be overlooked and forgotten. Have safe travels and trouble free.

Roadrunner, I would try removing the weephole covers and cover the holes with black electrical tape while traveling. Dramatically reduces the noise.

I have a 15 Forza 36G and had the same problem. My door did not line up properly. Dealer made adjustments and still the same wind noise. Checked the seals and all was good but not great. After consulting with Winnebago the dealer was told to bend the door? Yes bend the door? I saw them bend the door at the dealer and thought there is no way this will work? After going on a test drive at highway speeds (70mph) the noise was greatly reduced to almost nothing. We had a 20mph cross wind too. I do not think you can eliminate all wind/road noise with the style of door and seals on this particular coach, but I can assure you there is options to fix this if the dealer will step up. Winnebago and or your dealer should handle this for you.

Dealer did as you recommended.....bend the door which greatly reduced the wind noise. Thanks for the tip.

Thanks for the tip Dealer bend the door which decreased the wind and removing the weep hole covers while traveling also helped. Thanks again!

We have a 2012 Journey 36M and had issues with wind noise. Even though the flashlight test didn't show any open spaces between the door and the coach, my dealer ( Camping World of Dothan, AL) went ahead and added another seal around our door. This worked great, and our wind noise is reduced tremendously.
I agree that all of it will never be completely eliminated, but it should be that you can carry on a normal conversation at a normal tone with the passenger.

Have fun.
