You’d think the holes would all be in the exact same spot because they are all CNC cut panels.
Here’s my driver side.
We often listen to podcasts while driving, so I added another pair of speakers under the front edge of the bunk to get more sound directed at us. There’s no clearance issue with the bunk up or down.
For music listening we have an amazing portable BT speaker. Studio Onyx 4.

I can’t find any pics of the fog lights and I already removed the old ones. I welded a frame behind the grille and they mounted on each side of the license plate. I think the mesh grille blocked too much light output so my next options are either put the new ones in the same spot and then cut circles in the mesh and add a trim ring to look finished, or come up with a “bull bar” type thing in front of the grille.
I’ll keep you posted.
While we’re here...why is the washer fluid so damn small??? All that room for a tiny little box. Giant streaked window needs a lot of cleaning! That may be a future upgrade.

Wiper blade replacement
When traveling to Cali from Arizona had my stock blades wear out and needed to replace them unexpectedly during a rain storm. Went to Walmart and bought 2 28” rain x ones. Had to pull the connector piece from the stock ones and pop them on the rain x ones. Been working very well for over a year. No noticeable difference between the sizes in regards to what u can see. Also I use rain x washer fluid as it creates a water resistant film that saved us on the road when the stock blades failed.
In Arizona the sun and no humidity will wear out ur blades. So when it does occasionally rain that is when you find out they are bad. I now carry 2 28” rain x blades in my rv.

Yep, thankyou for this info as it will be my next choice of wipers. No need to have wipers that clear the tinted part of the windshield. And besides I do like Ranix products.
Thanks

Slow drip
Any Intent owners ever have a drip that emanates from the fresh water tank overflow, and know why? I only have 5 gallons of fresh water in the tank?

Yeah, water, but just a drip. This is how much came out overnight. That circle is ~ 3” in diameter. Strange...

It’s right under the rear fresh water tank overflow blue tube, closest to the rear. Not the one used to empty the fresh tanks.

Ok got it. Thanks. Definitely a leak that's finding its way to overflow pipe hole in chasis. I would suggest removing your tailgating drawer and see if any of the many connections are not leaking. I believe u have different configuration than I do as I have two tanks. But u should be able to check a few of the connections maybe by feel alone.

Hey Strangers!! Oh my gosh. What a trip. So we have not done a thing with our Intent since the pandemic hit and now I’m getting super restless! Headed up to where the Willenium Falcon is stored and all the batteries were dead, the generator wouldnt start, total fail! Disco’d the house batteries and ran to Costco, got some Interstates in there. Anybody got any tips on pulling the engine battery? It looks like its in a super awkward location if I come at it from the front.
On the generator front, I think it just sat too long and the gas gummed up the carb. I fixed it by running some fuel line into a gas can with about 1/2 gallon of fuel mixed with about 1/4 bottle of sea foam. After about 4-5 priming and starting cycles, it fired up! Now I’ve put a shut off valve in the fuel line so I can be sure gas doesnt sit in the carb when not in use.
I reversed the doors on the fridge. It makes so much sense, but what a pain! There are two brackets that are adhered to the fridge on top that stopped me from being able to pull the unit out far enough, so we just had to tilt it up to get the job done. The forward upper bracket was missing every single bolt that was securing to the wall. It is literally not attached. The rearward bracket is the only thing holding the fridge snug I supposed. That and the footer brackets.
Anyway! Good to see some originals still here and awesome to see some new folks too!

Good to hear from you again, Bdub. A lot has happened since you were last here. Yeah, we lost a few owners for bigger units, and Winnebago discontinued the entire Intent lineup.
Who knows, perhaps anyone looking for a reasonable alternative will seek out the Intent and it’ll hold its value better.
We had the same issue with moving the refer door. The brackets were all intact, so the only way to get to the lower door bolts is to left the front up. It worked, and yes, makes much more sense. I also raised the front up about 1/2”, because we carry an extra 12v/120v refer/ freezer that can fit below it, and the door now clears.

Wyatt, is that pic current? Did your door originally hinge on the right?

Oh wow! I didn't realize they ditched the whole line! Now we got collectibles!😎
We are thinking about deleting that storage drawer just to the right of the fridge and pulling the dinnette in favor of a queen sized sofa sleeper or jack knife sofa....not completely sold on it yet though

Oh gosh, didn't know they dumped the Intent. I see 2021 models still active at Winnie.
Well, I know they dumped the 26M after about 2 years. When I asked Winnie, they just gave me a general excuse, saying they adjust their lines from time to time.

YGOHOME put two recliners in there, and a tv over the door. That’s nice too...

I think we are looking at one of those tri fold sofas so we have some guest sleeping capability
