Electrical problem 04 Journey

I was preparing for a trip when I went into my 2004 Journey I had no 120v power The powerline panel indicated 50 amp power but I was plugged into 20amp It would not let me change the incoming voltage on the panel. When I run the generator I can power the a/c but most other circuits will not work. On advice of a RV repairman I changed the ems board but same problem still exists- shows 50 amp on gen or 20amp and only a few circuits work. I am getting power to the ems board.
Any help would be appreciated

That's scary. We're getting ready for a trip in a week or so and that would be really nice to be facing. Hope you get a good response on this question.

Have you unplugged from shore power? If not unplug and then plug in again.

on my 04 ds i was having trouble have the elect system and there was a elect buzz coming from the basement door were the main cord comes in, there is electic box that has all the electic brains of mh in there, it switches to what ever power that is coming in 110,12v gen. or invertor there is a electial transistor box about 5'' square that take care of this for you i think a surge or drain can abuse the brains, i replaced the box, i forget the proper name of it ,if you have the proper tester you can start there

I had the same prolblem 05 HR Endeavor. In my battery compartment is a DC breaker. When this is tripped it kills the AC. It took someone to point this out. This is a black box approx 2X3" in size is operate like a pop breaker. Once it was reset the AC and DC was retored. I will try and get a picture posted to show the What, where etc. Hope this solves your problem.....
