Electric 2004 Journey

just purchased 34' journey and there are three electric plugs out on the passenger side of the unit any advise on how to correct this problem?
have reset gf plug for no help. teddodd

A few possibilities. First check all your circuit breakers. Second, there is a fuse reset button on your inverter/charger. Push the reset button. Third (assuming first & second didn't help) look on Winnebago's website and go to "Resources" and look at the 120v wiring diagram for your unit. Many times there are GFI receptacles that are wired with other convention receptacles down the line. In other words if the GFI has a problem, so will the other outlets that are wired after it. Check for power on the back of the GFI. If its there but not at its outlet, then the GFI is bad.

According to the Body, 110 Volt Wiring Diagram for your coach the bathroom GFI controls the outlets in the right, front of the lounge, the dinette, the bathroom wall, the exterior outlet, and the exterior entertainment center. The other GFI in the galley controls the galley outlets.

According to the 110 Volt Load Center/Auto Transfer Switch for your coach that circuit is controlled by the 15A circuit breaker labelled RECPS 1 in the main breaker panel (if you don't have an inverter) or in the inverter subpanel.

Btw, you should update your profile to include your new Journey.

hate to bother you but cannot get the fog lights going. found the 12 amp box but am uncertain how to remove the fuse.

The fog lights operate on the 12 volt system. Lift the "hood" on the front exterior of the RV. There are 12 volt circuit breakers located behind the black cover panel you will be looking at. The panel is held in place by 4 small arms at its corners that rotate 180 degrees to release the panel. I'm guessing that the breaker will be labeled. Again, press the breaker button to reset the circuit.

had no thought that there was a gfI in the bath. the other one is near by. everything working fine now other then the fog lamps. the bulbs are attached to the fixture I guess.

I found the breaker for the fog lamps and they will not reset. I replaced one lamp that had been broken and will order another to see if that works. assuming the bulbs are part of the lamp that cannot be replaced. I also had fun removing the ceiling fan in the bedroom and replacing with an led. thanks for getting my plugs hot.

got to the location that you were relating to .there is no pressure on the breaker to reset it. checked lights on another circuit and they do work. I need power to the lights from the dash switch somehow. thanks

get this right shortly. cannot get any response out of the 12volt breaker for the fog lamps.the lights do work if I add power from another circuit.
