Elandan LCD Dash

I recently purchased a 1987 Winnebago Elandan that needed some work but for the most part is a solid motorhome. One of the items in need of repair is the original LCD dash. It looks more like a small group of Christmas lights instead of a dash. I found a place I can get a complete replacement dash with manual gauges, but would really like to keep the original look if possible. Does anyone know of a place that repairs these dash boards?

Have you been in contact with the help desk at Winnebago? They have always been very helpful to me. Here is their number in case you don't have it. 800-537-1885 Have your serial handy if you call them. Good luck with your project.

What chassis do you have? Do you have a picture of the dash?

LCD dash

I attached a picture of the dash from Winnebago's website. It's the exact dash that is in my '87. Mine just appears as an unreadable blur of lights.

Nice Dash

That is Very High Tech looking for 1987.

I had an '81 Cadillac Eldorado, which was said to have the first digital dashboard ever put in a vehicle.

It had a computer the size of a shoebox under the dashboard to run it!

The speed and fuel usage was amazing accurate 31 years later....

You might contact these folks:

Speedometer Repair | Instrument Cluster Repair | Odometer Repair | Mr. Whizard

No connection to them, never used them, google turned them up.

(Me, I'd see if a regular cluster would go in. Something from a different Chevy chassised motorhome, which is probably a van or pickup cluster from the era.)
