DVD won't play, Pioneer AVH-220

I have repeatedly attempted to get the DVD player Pioneer (AVH-220) in the Vista 29V to play a DVD. It acknowledges that a DVD has been inserted in the head unit, and will not go past the window saying you can't play while in motion. But even with applying the Parking Brake, it won't allow to push the "OK" button.

Did the factory wire it incorrectly? Or is there a trick which will fix it?

you might check to see whether the green wire in the back of the video head is attached to the parking brake module. Plan B would be to insert a switch bypass. Check on Youtube for a video on how this works.. it was effective for me when I replaced the Pioneer with a JVC KW-v350BT
