Demise of the Intent 26M

Has anyone else noticed that the my great functional Intent 26M is not included in the 2020 lineup? I emailed Winn. and they just said that "from time to time they change lineups".

Wonder if it is because they were not making enough money on that size? I love the Intent, because of much standard equipment is optional on even more expensive models. Also, the 26m has a very functional floor plan, even with the slides in, which we love as we sometimes have to spend a night at truck stops and rest area's, and slides are not too safe.

We just bought a 2020 Intent 26M at the end of March 2020.

Gosh you got me excited, but here is their 2020 link and still no 26M listed. But who knows, maybe they are still building them.

The sticker with the VIN info and all that says it's a 2020.

But watching videos of the 2019 model and comparing it with mine, they look identical.

I hope we got a 2020!

Your sticker and your title OFFICIALLY determine the year of the coach. Most WBGO model years change in July. So, a 2019 built in August could be a 2020. This usually isn't noticeable but when a model is discontinued it can become more evident.

Winnebago switched a lot of stuff (Class A gassers at least) over to the 2020 model year quite early (April-ish) this year. The examples I've seen are just 2019 models designated at 2020 model year units. Later (end of September) they switched the content as seen on the website now.

It's gone. I've seen 2 different exterior sticker themes in the short production run too. I like the early design better.
I had a 2001 Class C Winnie that was built on an early 1999 Chevy chassis. Not a big deal until you take it in for service and they can't figure out why it has a big block 454 that wasn't an option in 2001!

All of us wish companies (RV) wouldn't do this. We know why they do it, but it doesn't seem rightest for them to be able to continue to get away with this.

Think about it. I’d you want one, like we did to fit in our driveway, you MUST now buy used = better resale...
