Congratulations. What a Christmas gift.

I followed your plight on two forums and this one appears to be far more helpful.

Hi folks....been a busy afternoon!!!

Spent the morning at the dealer, everything ok but two scratches on the stern,I mean.....left rear. Pretty easy to buff,so I didn't kick and scream, just documented them.

Strangely enough, several of the compartment doors were "out of alignment" and needed adjustment....

We also had a Jeff Foxworthy "here's your sign" moment....

My best buddy (he has an '03 Journey) and was with me and I was doing the PDI and I'm up near the gennie exhaust with the dealer service rep and service manager and I notice this "v shaped" rubber piece, underneath the front-most compartment...We all are scratching our heads so the service manager goes and gets a digital camera to send a pic to Winnie.
About that time,my buddy comes out from inside the coach, looks at what we're looking at and walks to the front of coach and pushed the gennie tray in....

OOOPS!!!

The v shape goes perfectly around the gennie exhaust pipe....

Well,I better get back to work,I have SIX remotes to put batteries in!!

Apparently it isn't too unusual for the basement doors to be misaligned - I had two on the curb side that were way out. I had to drop the handle end of the doors about 1/4". It doesn't sound like a lot but it is instantly noticeable. One of the two doors required dropping the latch post down about about 1/4" since it was at the end of its adjustment travel.

The coach never should have left the factory with this problem.

Keep us posted what you find in the new coach - maybe start another thread when you collect some observations.
