Dash lite on '06 Vectra

What does the red lite on the left side of the instrument panel indicate if it lights? I've not had it light because I discovered the wire is not plugged into anything! What should it be plugged into.

I don't have a picture of the 2006 Vectra dash, but on my 2005 Vectra I have a red light on the left side of the center which is the Jacks Down light (labeled), and amber light on the right side of the center which is the Antenna Warning light (labeled), and on the extreme right the (unlabeled) infrared receiver (which looks like a dark red light, but isn't) for the radio remote on the steering wheel. The wire from that should connect to the dash radio.

Thanks for the response! I didn't realize the previous owner had discarded a remote control when the strap attaching it to the steering wheel broke. I looked in the owners Manuel and saw the reference to the remote and then realized the "looks like a dark red light" you mentioned was the IR receiver. Again, Thanks.

Here's the info on the remote:
Radio Remote Control
135420-11-000 Remote Control/Radio-Steering
Wheel Mount (M9999-SWR1)

Radio Remote Control
135420-12-000 Remote Control/Radio (Steering
Wheel Mt. w/Button CD Changer) M9999-SWR2

If you have a CD Changer you'll need the 2nd one. Don't know whether they're still available, but you can give Lichtsinn's a call and find out.
