Chieftrains are 12'10" on the clearance.

Hauled cars most of my life we measured the units or cars with a height stick so we don't turn them into convertibles before delivery. .
2000 Chieftrain 35c put the stick on it today to the top part of the AM/FM antenna. Figure two inchs for bounce call it 13 foot.
We stay around OBX on weekends, if you see us I'll have the height stick with me.

It's not universal, but "generally" motorhomes are 12' 6" +/- at the top of the A/C units. This is why you see so many motorhomes with broken radio antennas. They're higher than 12' 6".

That is what mine measures and what the sales brochure states.
One day I took the wrong exit and immediately saw an underpass labeled 12' 8". It was a very busy intersection, so I took a deep breath- and eased under the interstate bridge without incident.

Hay,, I"ve been there.
Just retired year before last hauling cars out of Chicago. Made it a year without get a tinker job back to driving , hauling seafood now local but I looked at that AM/FM antenna and knew its a "TAD" more than 12.6 LOL
I can't tell you have many underpasses I have "EASED" under.
Was Based out of Hammon IN hauled the Fords Exployers off 21st Street at the plant if any of you live in the area for United Road.
PS I DO NOT miss those winters.
