Ceilng fabric came loose from the plastic piece that hides the seem. Any idea how to repair. I tried tucking it back and that does not work. Not sure how it came loose, no water, maybe rough west Virginia roads, just don't know. Any help appreciated.

I see you're driving a 2005 Journey. These headliners are usually vinyl fabric with a thin foam backing glued to the ceiling skin. The foam breaks down over time. As BarryLS states, it is possible to reglue. It is hard to get a nice outcome. If you search this site, there are a number of solutions folks have come up with, some a matter of taste, unfortunately no really easy fix.

Ours came loose in the bedroom. We messed with it for a while, then took it to a local auto repair shop who specialized in headliners. Just because it's a moho, doesn't mean it not just a head liner. We had him do the bedroom and the bath area. Looks great. Ran us $900. We have him scheduled to do the rest of the coach in November (when its cooler) He saved the original vinyl, but would have been cheaper to go with new (because he had to clean the old foam off the old vinyl)

Will try the spray glue and it not satisfied with look for upholstery person that does headliners. Thxs.

Do a search online to get some instructions. It's really not that difficult.

Heat the plastic first with a heat gun on low . Unscrew / loosen the metal underneath stretch and tighten .

I do not know where you are with this project, but i will give you my experience with the cover strip between panels. you will want to remove the plastic cover and aluminum strip under it to put that vinyl back in place. order a new cover because the old cover will bw stiff and does not want to go back on. a new one just snaps on.
