Can't turn off the radio...

Crazy, eh? Plugged in 110 and went in the MH. 2 ceiling vents were making noise trying to close. They were closed, just not enough to kick them out. Fixed those.

Radio in the bedroom is on, but not really. Everything is lit. The volume is static and there is no digital display. Volume goes up and down. The buttons do nothing. Pushed the volume button to turn it off and nothing. Not sure whats going on. House batts are 1/2 charged......

It's a Voyager AWM930

Try a hard power cycle/reboot on the radio. Find the fuse, use the battery disconnect... in some way kill its 12vdc and then restore it.

Something so easy. I keep forgetting about the switch on a panel by the entrance. Cycled it and it worked. Wonder what happened to basically have to do a hard reboot. I guess behind the radio is an inline fuse. Looks like there are only 4 mounting screws. I was going to pull the panel and disconnect the inline fuse. This was less time consuming... Thanks..

We are getting radios, etc. into an area where they are requiring more and more addons which get slow to being a computer. So when things are not shut down/operated as the computers thinks, things do get a bit odd.
In an RV, the power does do strange things at time as we move and change.
We had an old saying where I worked. We know what things do when they are working right but when they are working wrong, they can do anything they feel like!
