Perfectly timed intro and ideal for young families just like we were once upon a time. We remember our 1973 Brave like it was yesterday!

Amazingly, decor is no longer limited to 1970's rectangular wood cabinets and accents staring at you from all angles ... I really like the frosted semi see through cabinet doors to help open things up and provide a little variety ..
Keep going Winnebago!

I love the flex sofa in the 26A that can be a flat bed, stored up against the wall (with tie downs underneath) or flipped into a table. I also love the 3 point seat belts on the dinette and the lounge chair.
I've looked at the current Winnebagos but the co-pilot foot room is always a huge turn off for me. With the 3 point seat belt on the lounge chair that might be a good riding position if there is foot room.
The kitchen looks really nice. I am a fan of the stainless steel double bowl sink and the pull down slinky style faucet is high end for an RV where you normally get plastic.
I'll have to wait and see on the back bunk arrangement. I wonder what the weight rating is on the upper bunk. I have a horror of the corner beds so I'm wondering if two adults could use the bunk arrangement (one on top, one on the bottom).
I wish they published the dimensions on the shower. Some are so tiny your shoulders hit if you try to turn around.
The exterior retro design does not appeal to me. Maybe it is better in person. I think they would have been better off doing a retro design of an airstream or something that looked good the first time around. The interior design is not bad but I don't care for the yellow accent color. The pictures of the blue look pretty. I think I would probably like the green also. Maybe the red.
Hopefully some of the cool elements like the flex sofa, faucet, and 3 point seat belts on back chairs will migrate to their other models.
Edit: I just noticed the 40 gallon fresh water capacity on the 26A. That is a turn off. The black is 42G and the grey is 42G. Why put in such big black and grey tanks when the fresh is so small? One can only hope it is a typo.

Well Gang,
We're here at the GNR for '14 and, while on the factory tour, I watched about 4 of them on the line being assembled. They do bring back memories, that's for sure. Of course, as all of you know, the older units were a sort of "corrugated" aluminum sided unit (for lack of a better word) and, the new ones are fiberglass. Now, I didn't do the 8-person "close-up" tour so, I didn't get to see real close on how things are done. But, from what the wife and I saw, it was cool to watch those cruise down the assembly line, along with a few other models.

There will be occasions where you have fresh water supplied by a hose but no connection to a dump. Thus, you may be able to stay in your parking space longer without having to drive to the dump station.
