Blue flashing light above tv? 2014 Sunstar 27N
Hi Folks,
This is the first time I have ever asked a question and hope I'm in the proper link. I have a 2014 Itasca Sunstar 27n and was wondering what the blue flashing light is above the tv in the lounge area. I have gone into the wiring diagrams online without being able to locate what it is. Does anyone know what it's for? Thank you

Blue flashing these days might indicate a Bluetooth connection either already connected or trying to connect. Generally, a solid blue means connected.
Might check your TV for BT capability and see if it's seeking a BT device. It could also be the audio amp device if you have one. See if it has BT too.

Humm... blue flashing lights are not representative of my Bluetooth devices, perhaps others have a different experience?
It's hard to tell what you are referring to exactly. There is a King Amplified TV Antenna on your Sunstar and the control for that is on the ceiling in the front area of your RV. It has a bright blue light signal strength meter on it. This sometimes flashes depending on the signal strength the antenna is receiving.
This is just a guess. I'd guess it could be other items too. If you could post a photo of what you are seeing that would be most helpful
Here's what the King TV device looks like on your ceiling... the one with the bright blue light when the antenna amplifier is turned on. Does your "blue light" look like it's coming from this device on your RV?

Thank you, I will check the tv blue tooth and turn it off if it's on, hopefully that will be the answer. I'll let you know.

Hi creativepart, I always turn the antenna off when not using. The light is located just above the tv on the wall. I don't know how to add a photo but I'll try to figure it out.

Assuming this is an RV that is not "new", there are lots of things which may get added by the previous owners, so that throws the whole question too wide to even guess.
For adding pictures?
Get it on the computer, etc, then go advanced on tab below the posting and it brings a paper clip near top center. Click that and follow the prompts!

This one? It's the IR sensor for the TV remote. It should only flash when you press a button on the remote, at least that's how mine works. If it's flashing all the time then either a button is stuck on the remote or someone is sitting on it.

#7 is the right answer! The two IR repeater output LEDs hang down in the compartment aboue the drivers seat, and you position them so that their output "hits" the front of your Sat Rcvr, DVD, etc. that is up there.
The blue light should "flash" whenever an Infrared Remote control (like the one for the TV) is pointed in the general direction of that wall the blue light is near.

Wyocamper, yes that is the light. It seems to have a mind of its own. It blinks a lot whether tv is on or off and clicker is put away. I’m grateful to know what it is. Thank you! I removed the batteries from the remote and it stopped.

Remote repeater
The blue light over the TV is the remote control repeater. When it detects a button push on any remote, it sends it to the repeater behind the TV. It flashes in sync with the remote so you know it is working. You can't see the remote IR signal. Behind the TV you should see some very fine wires with a little round "button" on the end. The button is an IR LED that is flashing the remote signal to the Blu-Ray player and other devices. If the Blu-Ray player remote sensor cannot "see" the little button, you have to open up the cabinet to use the remote. Many times the little button is taped onto that sensor. Mine just hangs in front of the Blu-Ray player and I can use the remote as if it is visible. You do have to be careful and not open the disk tray with the TV latched closed.
