Have a 2007 Adventure, with automatic Leveling system. All of a sudden with jacks down. The bedroom slide will not extend. But will when jacks are up?
Check in your owners manual for the correct position of the slides when checking the fluid. On my old coach I had to have a particular slide out before checking the HWH tank level. Clean the dirt away before opening the dipstick cap.

The fluid is low and there is not enough to extend the jacks and the slide out --- have had this problem before. Get the jacks up and then check the fluid level at the reserve tank. I suspect that it is not real low but, is below the full level.

I have a 2007 Adventurer also, and have needed to fill the reserve tank, due to a slow hydraulic fluid leak. At 11 or 12 years old, some of the hydraulic hoses will probably be leaking. You may have one constantly dripping.
Important: As others have stated, the 07 fluid should only be filled when jacks are up and slides are in, or you will have a mess to clean up, when the tank overflows.
The tank is just forward of the main slide on my 35A.
