We just picked up a new 29VE last week. We upgraded from a View 24D which we just couldn't get comfortable with. When we picked up the 29VE, we stayed overnight at the dealers "sales lot" to use all the systems before driving it home. We didn't find any problems. The drive home demonstrated that we need a front end alignment and some suspension mods. Since then I've caulked the bottom panel on the screen door to stop the crashing noise it makes driving over bumps, turned the generator outlet right side up (not sure how it left the factory that way) and fixed the stripped screw on it, then I tightened up the bedroom door strap since it was so loose that it was not working. I'm planning on replacing all three ceiling fans since they don't close all the way. It's a really cheap fan and Winnebago should be ashamed for using them. They are powered so it will be easy to connect them up. I had to do the same thing on the 24D with the same cheap fan. I still haven't figured out where to put the trash can unless we buy a much smaller one to go under the sink. What do you do for a trash can?

Thanks, Dennis

We have a trash bin mounted to the door under the sink. Fits grocery bag. Tight fit but it does the job. Good luck with your 29VE

We found a three leg trash bag holder that takes a full sized kitchen bag. Going down the highway it is in the shower. Stopped we leave it there of put it to the left of the refrigerator.

Dinette shelve added

After spending time transferring dishes drinks etc between inside and outside it seemed appropriate to add a shelve to the top of the dinette back cushion replacing the 2 inch foam/material covering. It works well and is a great improvement. Used Cabot early American wiping stain on cherry which matches the cabinet very well. Also added a cherry end piece to the end of the couch which actually keeps the arm rest in place. Big improvement
Enjoy every day or you wasted one
