Always Use Levelers?

I’m staying at a campsite with very level concrete pad and it’s only me and my two small dogs.
Do you advise using levelers no matter what?
Thanks.

If you’re talking about a motor home, I would. It will help stop any movement when you’re walking around

But I generally don't feel all the "movement" unless the DW is moving about--not the cats.

It's entirely up to you. If you don't feel you need them, you don't.

do you have a reason for not using them? We always use them but there are two of us plus three dogs.

Everything just seems level.
My concern though is fridge.
Need to get some level gauges for that.

I wish I had them sometimes. If it gets windy my roof dish keeps loosing a satellite. Generally, I do not need them . You are fine not using them all the time.

From what I've read, Norcold's recommendation is to be level within 3 degrees side-to-side and 6 degrees front-to-back. I've also read that, as long as you're comfortable, the refrigerator is OK.

Bob C hit it on the head with level.

Also think of stabilization when thinking of the jacks. It will not hurt anything if you don't deploy them but gives stabilization for others walking of if there are winds blowing.

Would not disagree with any of the preceding, (here comes the but monkey) but, in addition to stability, if we hunker down for week or more, we like to extend the levelers a tad to relieve a a little load off the tires.

Maybe I missed something.....what are you driving? does it have slides?
If you have slides you should first deploy the levelers then the slides no matter the site conditions. If you have no slides it probably does not matter.

Good point but, and this may vary from model to model, my understanding is that the coach needs to be essentially level, not that the levelers need to be used to be deployed. I guess it's best to check with Winnebago to be sure.

Looks like you drive a Spirit Class C in your pic or maybe a 2018 Intent you mentioned in other places? If they are not automatic, I wouldn't bother. If they are automatic, there is no reason not to use them everytime.

Pretty much. If it's a sideways-mounted refrigerator and standard 8' width coach you need to have one side about 5" higher than the other to exceed the limit. For a 32' length coach it's about 20" higher at one bumper than the other to exceed the limit. So if your drink slides off the table..

Caveat: The level limits depend on the age of the refrigerator. The newer ones use those limits. Ones that are several years old have lower limits. Always read your manual.

And "DW" usually means Darling Wife.

Great responses.
Although drinks aren’t sliding across Intent table - lol! - the fact that I have slides probably makes leveling a good idea in any situation.

Agreed on checking the manual. Just because it's level before the slide(s) go out does not mean it will be level afterwards due to the change in the center of gravity. That might cause problems when retracting.
