Aftermarket Underbelly Pan for 2015 Brave?
Hello,
Wondering if any outfit is making pans for weatherizing wet bays? Have a 2015 Brave and would love a way to seal from the the elements that was permanently attached like in newer coaches.
Cheers

Greetings Wile E,
Could you please provide a photo of your wet bay? Perhaps we could brainstorm something for it.
Welcome to the forum.

Random internet picture attached. Like yours? Never realized Winnebago didn’t use a heated basement setup on that vintage Brave, bummer.

If you could make a flat plastic panel work, Home Depot carries a couple different types. Both come in 4 x 8 sheets. The less expensive one is white plastic (PVC?), smooth on both sides and about 1/16" thick. About $30 a sheet.
The other one is called FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic) that's about 2mm thick and stiffer that the other one. Smooth on one side and pebble finish on the other. The cost is considerably more, about $65 a sheet if I remember right. Cuts and drills easily with woodworking tools.

I have had Braves in the past and several were much older than 9 years! I kind of think of old as being from the 70's!
But I also have not noted any that were not enclosed, so a totally new thing for me.
But I know that Wi9nnebago are semi famous for doing lots of molds and shapes to get the best use out of specific spaces. That makes me feel there will not be an addon item for this use or it would have been there when new.
I might call some place like the major Winnebago places and ask first but I am guessing that your best bet might be a local metal specialty place to build a bin to be attached.
With no bin, where would I keep my grungy gloves?
UGH! Not something I want to store inside with me!

Thank you for the ideas. Will definitely be crawling under to see if this is an option.

I agree. The reintroduced retro Brave was not sold in large numbers, so I can’t imagine there is any kind of robust demand for aftermarket compartment modification products. Find a local sheet metal fabricator and get a quote.

Having worked on many boats in my distant youth, a boat repair shop might be able to build a fiberglass pan to custom fit to your bay, just a thought. Especially easy if you could build a plywood mold for them to use.
