Now that is a nice looking motorhome, both the exterior and interior.
IMHO, the interior of Destination/Latitude leaves a lot to be desired. I do not like the cabinetry in the Destination/Latitude. I suspect sales are poor and this hurts the future of the innovative UFO gas chassis.
Is there an Itasca equivalent of the Adventurer Limited??
All I'd like to see added to the Limited is a front entrance door.
Winnebago should drop the Destination/Latitude lineup and add the UFO chassis to the Adventurer/Itasca lineup. Make a 39' 6" coach and brand it as a 40'er. Use a front entry door and both 4 slide and a 2 big slide models.
Winnebago currently has 5 gas models, Vista, Sightseer, Voyage, Adventurer and Destination. Too many IMHO. 3 would be better. Drop the Destination and Voyage. Same with the Itasca lineup. Build the Adventurer on both the W22/W24 chassis and the UFO chassis. Use a diesel floor plan on the gas UFO Adventurer/Suncruiser. And market a 4-slide, opposing couches, front entrance door 40' UFO billed as a Adventurer Limited/Suncruiser Limited.
And forget ever building a diesel UFO. That would never compete with an entry level Freightliner chassis with air suspension, air brakes and Freightliners vast service network.
Wait, they should just hire some of us here on iRV2 as consultants!

The Adventurer Limited does not have a Suncruiser equivalent.

When the UFO becomes equipped with a diesel it'll be with the Maxx Force 7. The price point for a UFO equipped with a diesel will be more attractive than an FLCC equipped RDP because we already see it as an advantage regrading the FRED and it does not have air brakes.
Remember the UFO stops quicker than a competitive vehicle equipped with air brakes and it certainly has instilled great consumer confidence regarding maneuverability. In the GVW range that the UFO competes in, 22,000 to 26,000 GVW range, it certainly will perform well. Current owners, potential customers and test drivers will attest to this. When equipped with a diesel engine, it will not be difficult to find an IH/Navistar dealer is almost every large town and city in the country which will also include the existing WCC service network. Combined, the potential for the total number of dealerships appears to be greater than FLCC's.
