We are at a 50amp site, and I don't see any amp readouts on the panel. The "Christmas tree" lights are all lit, including the light for the 2nd compressor.

The return air is in the bed pedestal, however, the bed spread that came with the coach is short enough that it does not get in the way.

This may be late in the game, but have you checked to make sure that that AC breaker for the #2 compressor is turned on?

The compressor cycling you get in the evening is probrably only the # 1. The #2 compressor is not used if #1 can maintain the desired temp.

I can trick my EMS into thinking I am on 30 amps by turning off my hot water heater AC breaker before turning on the 50amp breaker at the pedestal. You might try this if you don't want to run your generator to check on amp draw as AC cycles.
