Add an inverter to a 2008 29R

Hi,
My 2008 Sightseer does not have a factory inverter (DC to AC), and I was wondering if anyone has added one to their RV while boondocking.
I am running 2 Lion 100A batteries in parallel.
I would like to only provide AC to some or all of the AC outlets to run low amperage items, while running the remainder of the coach (fridge and lights) on DC.
Do i need any type of isolator (prevent back flow of current?) between it and the load when connected to shore power?
Thanks!
