35F Generator Issues

Any advice would be appreciated.
In March, 2018, I noticed the bolts attaching the braces to the frame, securing the generator had sheared and/or failed. CW Fayetteville, NC would not touch it, and referred me to a shop working on trucks. They were helpful, and we drilled new holes, replaced the bolts with larger sizes, and were convinced the gennie would not fall out on the road. In Mar, 2019, we were in Iowa, and I had Winnebago look at the repair, and several other items we had not been able to get fixed. They also approved of the repair, and assured us it would not fall out. We returned from Florida recently. I now have 13,000+ miles on the rig. While washing this weekend, I happened to look under the generator. A cover, or shield has come loose, and is wedged between struts, the gennie and the sidewall...
Have I just been lucky enough to have a series of freak events? Or, is there an issue with the generator and the designed location of it in the 35F layout?
Thanks
Hope you all are staying well and being safe..
