2019 27pe Sunstar

I just traded my 2006 Classs C Outlook for the Sunstar. It seems the quality has gone down tremendously. I've had it a week and the jackknife broke where the boards that hold it up were attached to the 3/8" plywood sides. Took it in and they cut some 2x4"s and screwed it to the holding board and floor to hold it, when it is folded into a bed the back cushions are 3" higher than the front cushions. The dinette table has some type of a laminate coating and is starting to peel, Pantry door is warped, the toilet floor flange broke on one side, and a few other small things. I took it to the dealer and am waiting for authorization to make repairs.
Has anyone else purchased one of these and had issues. I expected some but in 12 years my Outlook had no quality issues.
Thanks for any input Sorry to make my first post a rant, i'm sure it will get better

Update

Well I think I have all warranty repaired for now. While I was waiting the DW decided she wanted me to do some mods. So I changed the rear and side solid windows with sliding glass windows, installed shelving in the "broom closet" for canned goods, made pull out shelving in the pantry, made and installed pull out drawers under the sofa, cut out the end panels of the dinette and made and installed pull out drawers, and other little things. She's pretty happy with it now.

Well well, it appears we were doing the same thing, making a pull-out panty because the DW wanted it. I finished mine about a week ago. I like your assertiveness on the pull out drawers under the dinette, I was thinking of the same modification, since my Fleetwood Pace Arrow had drawers there. It's wasted space that's difficult to access. The drawers under the couch are nice too. Thanks for the inspiration.

Below is how I built my pullout pantry. Maybe I'll put one in the lower shelf too.

I ordered them from Motion Windows out of WA. I sent the measurements and they made them to size. Their website has a video on how to measure and replace. Saved hundreds of dollars compared to what the dealer wanted. Winnebago doesn’t have windows available that slide.

Motion Windows has a simple to use online quoting system for their RV replacement windows. And they offer both single and dual pane windows in all kinds of tints. That's given us some prices to consider: https://www.motionwindows.com/

Thanks once again, Jeepster05

Just curious what kind and how you mounted the slides for the shelves. I used 2 side slides from Lowes and attached them to the bottom of each drawer. Also what material did you use? Thanks
