Hi John,
Bought the same year and model late Summer of 2019. We bought it from a dealer in Florida and drove it back to Ohio.
We really love the floor plan too. Don't have much use for a dinette as we eat outside a lot. When we need a table, my wife has a couple of wood TV tables that are a lot easier to pull out and set up then dragging out the supplied drop leaf table. Nice open plan which our Golden Retriever appreciates.
There will always be problems with any RV and ours was no exception.
-Had a passenger side slide leak. Took back to dealer we bought it from in Florida while were down there. They did some repairs, but it leaked on the way home. Finally took it to Winnebago Factory last Summer and they fixed it. Highly recommend the factory for repairs that you don't trust to a dealer.
-Had a sky light crack over the shower. Factory replaced it too.
-Chassis air conditioner compressor went bad. Dealer in Florida did repairs.
-Release lever on slide out portion of couch broke off. Found parts online and did repair myself
-Had problems with toilet getting stopped up. Not a direct drop into tank. Snaked out several times and haven't had any problems for a while.
-Remember bed needs to be in fully up position to bring slide in. Grandkids got in ours and pushed buttons. Took a while for me to figure out why slide wouldn't come in.
-Had a lot of wind noise at Passenger window. Caulked weep hole covers at bottom of window to the frame and it took care of it.
-Fireplace is going bad. Sometimes turns on, sometimes not. Needs circuit board, but no longer available.
-Convection Microwave may also be going bad. Sometimes makes a loud snapping sound when turning on. Pretty cheap unit - no parts available.
-Having a problem now where the front nose of the coach has come loose from the metal brackets that run vertically from about the bottom corner of the windshield on the side of the coach down to the bottom of the fiberglass panels. Just glued on. Debating whether to attempt the repair myself or take to someone.
-There a slew of other minor things that break or go bad, but not abnormal for these units.
Not sure if you pull a trailer or have a other Class A. If first time driving a Class A be prepared for an adjustment in driving habits. The length doesn't bother me, but the width is a little more daunting. Watch going thru toll booths. Clearance on either side is tight. You might want to check to see if the previous owner had added any steering dampers or extra suspension upgrades. They really help and you should consider adding them if missing. Mine came with them.
Despite the above, we are overall very happy with our purchase. Have taken it to Florida in the Winter twice now and as far West as Colorado last Summer. Signed up for one of the Fantasy Tours for a trip out West later this Summer. We are on the waiting list for it now, but hope it opens up for us.
So good luck with your purchase. Maybe we will see you out there someday. If you have any questions I am sure you will find answers here or will get someone to reply. Great helpful group.
Carl
