2015 Tour 42QD Infotainment Center

Decided to exercise the MH today and when started the touch screen on the Infotainment Center would not accept the touch. It defaulted to "phone." Tried stopping, turning off, restarting but that didn't work. During one of the "retry's" I pushed Camara and the camera came on, then the other applications came on also.

I lost Serius XM but might have been because I have not used it in a long time. I'm going to contact them.

Any insight as to why I lost the "touch" capabilities on the Infotainment Center?

WBGO has used quite a few different systems on their Class As. Can you tell use what system your Tour has?

Like all things computerized sometimes the only thing needed is a hard reboot.

OK, the Xite system needs rebooted at times. Turn the RV off and the RV power disconnect off. That has fixed my issues, and usually it's just turning off and restarting the RV. It hasn't been necessary often, maybe 2 or 3 times a year.

Riverpark customer support is pretty helpful, as well. I've had better luck phoning them rather than sending an email. (800) 442-7717

Have you updated the SD card pretty regularly? It can help to be on the latest version of everything.

That's about all the help I can give on this topic. If the "freeze" has only happened occasionally then it's probably not something that needs much more than a reboot. The Xite Core Unit runs an embedded version of Windows, similar to an ATM machine.

Thanks and the freeze only happened this time since we purchased it in 2017.

Does it run off the service batteries or house batteries. Most likely "service" since it is activated by the ignition key.

Chassis batteries . It’s normally keyed to the ignition like a car radio. But, there’s a switch on the dash to power it with the ignition off. The switch is marked “house” But I think it’s still powered off the chassis battery.

I"m familiar with the service/house switch. Never had a need to run it from the house side. Never went anywhere with that configuration. :-).

Thanks. It goes into the shop Monday for a water pump problem and I'll see before I get there if all is well.
