2015 Itasca Sunstar 36Y installing 4 port propane adapter
I would like to install a 4 port propane adapter in my Sunstar, but there does not appear to be enough room between the shutoff valve and the regulator. Has anyone done this, and if so, how did you get enough room? I attached a photo of the tank and regulator so you can see what I mean.
Looks like the problem is with that plate that the regulator cover bolts to is not long enough after the Extend a Stay is installed to protect the regulator from road debris. Is that the issue you're facing?
Perhaps you could put a T fitting between the high pressure outlet and the regulator and then go up with the Extend A Stay fitting off the top of the T? I've seen RVs that have propane powered generators have such a T with a second regulator above the main regulator.
