Question 2015 Grand Tour 42 QL - Slide Issue

I'm hoping the collective brain power here can provide some possible solutions on a 42-QL.

We've just been told that the small living room curb slide suddenly refuses to extend. We're set to rent the coach on Thursday, and I'm not currently there to hear or see anything, but wandered if there was anything obvious I could check to see if I could get it going again. I'm scheduled to do an orientation on Wed afternoon, picking it up on Thursday.

It wouldn't be the end of the world, if I can't get it to work. But it would sure be nice if I could make it work!

Any ideas would be very appreciated!!!

Mark

Hi,

Need more info on coach. Number one is the emergency brake activated? also before operating slide out make sure coach is level and have engine running.
If that don't work than look in compartment under slide for little black box and read the code then call Schwintek

I'm certain the coach was level, had the emergency brake on and had the engine running (they did deploy the other three slides).

I'll check with them on the code in the black box.

Does any of this sound "field repairable"?

They've offered a discount...but obviously I'd much prefer it's fully functioning! They tried to say "welcome to the joys of ownership" ~ but I'm renting/leasing! Hopefully this is the only thing that goes south while we have it! (fingers crossed!).

C'mon, don't leave us hanging!!! What was the problem?

Mechanical or headspace? (Some vets know what it means)
