2014 Tour "Woofer" under couch. Access?

Set the sound system to FULL on Bass but can barely hear it. I wanna put my hands on the Woofer, seeking to adjust it with a knob, maybe? Anyone know how to get back in there? Kitchen and Couch seem bolted up tight.

The woofers they put in these are minimalistic. Get yourself a good 10" sub and a class D amp. I also swapped out the Jensen speakers with Infinity's. Made a world of difference. Next step will be the head unit. Jensen isn't very good quality stuff. You can only make it sound so good before it just doesn't go any further.

I heard that! I'm not at all in love with the quality or the placing of the "surround sound".

But, I wanna get to the Boom Box to see if I can adjust it up a bit. Momma's tight grip on the purse eliminates any idea of upgrading for a while.

Thanks

Allrighty then. Answered my own question.

Very pleased that Winnebago is Smart and Efficient. In our 42QD with the L-shaped couch, the extension piece that slides out into the room is attached to the main couch unit with two 7/16 nuts which run through a metal "stop block". Locate and remove those two nuts and the "stop block" falls away and the extension slides right out leaving easy access to the entire underside of the couch.

On the other hand, having easy access to the Boom Box was very disappointing. It is a non-powered piece of **** and barely makes noise. NO adjustments. All but useless. It WILL be replaced.

Wogelsby,
Is it possible to use the wires that run to the subwoofer for a powered subwoofer (if you can find 110v nearby)?

The sub woofer in our 2102 40U is also under the couch and is more then strong enough for us on the normal setting. Might be an issue with either your speaker or the surround sound system. Know any kids with the sub woofer boxes in their cars you might be able to borrow to ensure that it's not an issue with the surround sound?

Mine does not work at all, it's somewhere in the surround-sound system I'm sure. Our MH has a 2,000w amp under the dash to power the system and I think its bad. Time to get my eldest grandson involved.
