2014 Sunova 33C Owner
I'm new to this forum and am curious as to why I don't see many posts by Sunova owners. I see lots of posts by owners of Adventurer, and Vista owners but very few by Sunova owners. Am I overlooking them or aren't there many people that own a Sunova? I purchased mine in July and plan on FT come July 2019. Just curious.

Oh, we're here. We're just busy piddling around with our Sunovas or busy on the road or busy for the holidays, etc.!

We have a 2015 Sunova 33c (built on a 2014 Chassis)... great unit - for the most part only minor issues and we have put 44k miles on it since getting it in May of 2014

We're around but perhaps aren't having unsolvable problems with our coaches. Ours is a 2011 Itasca Sunova 33C that we've driven from coast-to-coast several times, in Western Canada and along our US southern border. For nearly two years, my wife have lived in our coach, which my wife described as our "escape pod," after selling our home in New Jersey. We'll be settling into a new house we're building in the Charleston, SC area which we've come to love.

2015 Sunova 33c, purchased "gently used" we thought. I guess it was, BUT...it's been sitting in a repair shop for more than a month because the Schwintek slide system had a total failure on the driver's side slide. Ordered parts from Winnebago...sent damaged parts. Ordered new parts which have arrived and are scheduled to be installed starting this Friday. Lots of frustration on the shop's part as well as mine. This has been a known issue at Winnebago, and many of the systems have been replaced by Winnebago even after the original warranty had expired. I'm trying to work with them to take care of mine, but until I have a final bill from the shop, I can't do anything. I read on one forum that they would replace the system if it failed within 3 years of the build date of the coach. Mine did.

Lucky!!! To be living on John’s Island is great! We love the Charleston area and camp at James Island when we can get a spot!

I post if a question involves something I have experience with or want more info for myself.

Did Winnebago change the Sunova/Sightseer slide system in 2016 to resolve issues? Sunova 33c is on my short list.
