2014 Itasca Solei 34T Check Valve Location

Greetings - noob to forum and wanted to see if anyone can answer my question.

I'm looking for the check valve location on my 2014 Solei for the black tank flush line. Its not accepting water and I suspect its the ball in the check valve stuck to one side. But I can't seem to locate it. So before I assume is the nozzle inside and try things like ridex and ice I want to replace the check valve. Does anyone know where it is? Advice appreciated.

If it is like most, the check valve or back flow preventer is part of the connection where you connect the water line for the black tank flush, much like the fresh water inlet check valve. You should be able to remove the hose from the flush connection and insert a small stick or screw driver and dislodge the stuck check valve ball or plunger, if that is really your problem.

The factory worker installed your check valve backwards, very easy to do, had the same problem on my Vista 35b. I bought a PEX clamping tool and some 1/2 clamps, cut the lines, reversed the valve and reinstalled with a new clamp, problem solved.

Still trying to locate the valve. Checked under the left side of sink but didn't see it. Its not under the panel at the connection point outside. Still looking...

Thanks - it wasn't upright as shown in the diagram. It was laying down 90 degrees to the photo to the right. Working on figuring out those clamps to get it out.

Just realized in the diagram it says, "must be mounted above toilet flood level". It was laying down. Going to re-try with it "upright"...

Well it wasn't the mount - I don't see any water or drops in the lines above. I do below which makes me think its vacuum locked. Any advice on those clamps types/tool need would be helpful.

stevegster, I'm pretty sure it has to be in the upright position as shown in the picture to work correctly.
You have to cut the clamps off and get new rings and a tool. Lowes, Home Depot and ACE have the parts and tools.

Thanks for everyones help. I've ordered the assembly and will acquire the proper Pex tools to replace it. Update forthcoming.

Another point if water your pressure is to high it will lock the vacuum breaker. I had to add a hose valve when I live in town to control the flow.

I've got a pressure control on the line. And I gave it several good whacks but no dice.
I'm hoping its that and not the nozzle inside the tank. I've read some crazy ideas on how to get it unplugged... but one thing at a time. If I can eliminate this then I can move on to the nozzle inside.

Appreciate all your help. I'd much rather spend the money learning myself then having someone do it for me and charge 4X.

Have you checked to see if the check valve was installed in the correct direction?

Problem solved. HUGE thanks to grtharris, tderonne - the pics were just what I needed. I ended up cutting the valve out and putting a simple 90 degree connection in with no check valve to ensure it was not the nozzle inside the tank. To my delight - I heard water spraying inside the tank after I cut the check valve out. I then installed the new valve and it works perfectly. I DID notice that the lines were installed backwards as per smacdiesel (THANK YOU SMAC!). So while the backwards install was likely the issue - everyones's advice was SPOT ON!!! I'm so grateful to all of you and hope to buy you a beer at the next rally! I so appreciate the sharing of knowledge and win of fixing it on my own and more importantly, LEARNING about my rig. I'm sure it saved me $500+.

Appreciate you y'all. Hope I can repay the favor in the future.
