2014 31KE CAT scale data point

Thanksgiving morning, as we left the KOA enroute to my BIL"s and SIL's home for dinner, we stopped at a CAT scale a mile away.

(No line on T-day )

With 2 people, one dog, 3/4 tank of gasoline, full water, ~1/3 full grey and black, essentially full propane, and the assortment of stuff we take to mount an expedition,

Steer axle 5,720 lbs (6,500)

Drive axle 10,440 lbs (11,000)

Total 16,160 lbs (17,500)

Oh, and that's with 2 LiFePo house batteries, and I took out the StudioLoft bed.

It's good to know that we are under the max by 1,340 lbs. I dunno how Winnebago thinks that 7 people and their "stuff" can fit in this unit. The sticker says 2,052 lbs of cargo and occupants, including water, etc. That's 293 lbs per person.

We were over in our 26m by 100# when we weighed in. Two adults, one small dog. Water 1/3, grey 1/3rd, no black, 3 full propane tanks, (4th was empty), 3/4 tank of gas. Personally, I can’t drop 100#’s, so something has to go...ugh.
