2013 Winnebago Vista 27N

My best friend is considering this coach or its twin in the Itasca line. If any owners of a Under 30' Vista of 2010 or later vintage would post their likes and dislikes after living with their coach for a while I would appreciate it and will pass your knowledge along.

We hae a 26he vista we enjoy it and has alot of room for two. I think it is well built and has a lot of good extras. We had a 24ft Solera and it was to small

We got our 27n last month. It seemed to have the most living space(3 slides) of all the under 30 footers we looked at and it is on the 18k chassis instead of the 16k the others were built on. It also had larger fresh water and holding tanks which was important as we dry camp and boondock mostly.

I thought the 27N was the answer to my wish list, but after seeing the 30T (at nearly the same price)...no comparison. Three more feet = a much better floorplan. Now, if they would put a Fred chassis under it, narrow the body to 8 feet, slope the nose, and lower it on the frame by 12", WGO would have my coach. Space and aero/mpg effeciency. This would (could) be what the future could be.

Unless your friend has a length situation,ie storage, I would recommend he at least look at the 30T. 30T has more room and probably better resale potential. JMHO

I like the layout of the 30T but love the 27N for our needs. The salesman was leaning me toward the 30T but after thinking about it, will go with the 27N instead. And the 27N tucks in beside our permanent home much better.

As the OP of this thread,I can report that our friends did indeed trade for a 2013 Vista 27N. They seem to be generally happy with their new coach. They installed a combo, ventless washer/dryer and report that works well. They had some problems with a slide but those have been resolved. We are meeting them in Williamsburg, Va in mid July and will spend a couple of weeks with them. I'll up date this thread after that trip.

I pick it up tomorrow afternoon. Love the new interior options on the 2014 model and am glad we waited. Now, it's just a matter of getting comfortable in traffic.

After spending a long weekend in our 27N, we highly recommend it. Plenty of room and storage. I just told the wife not to try and fill all the space.

Just bought a 2013 Vista 27n.

Traded our 2006 26A Aspect for a 2013 Vista27N. First two nights out with it and Wife can't stop commenting on how much she likes it. Her big likes are the walk around bed and kitchen counter space. My likes are the storage and fresh water and sewer dump setups. It does seem much bigger than a 28.3 ft coach. We are taking a two week trip soon and will get a good indoctrination. Thought I'd miss my Aspect, but so far, not. It was a great coach however, and paid for!!!!

Great to hear you're enjoying it. We just camped with ours last weekend with no hookups and it worked perfectly. Unless you are going to spend all of your time inside the Unit, I wouldn't know why you'd need something larger. We agree with all of your comments along with it's a joy to drive.

Like you, we came out of a B+/C and I was a little intimidated, at first, with the overall size and being able to stay in my lane, but it's worked out well so far. Now, the first narrows we come to with a semi coming in the opposite direction, there might be a few white knuckles.

Brockx, that would sound more like the Allegro Breeze which has a price tag $75,000 higher. It's a little more narrow, a little shorter and has a diesel pusher.

Those extra 3' also have to come into play when considering storage, parking and maneuverability.

"..narrow the body to 8 feet." The Vista, and all Winnebago Class A's (except for the Via) are 102" wide, not counting mirrors. I would like to see it at 90" + or -. With opposing slides, the interior would be spacious.

Still don't get it but I'm slow today. Why would anyone want a 96 vs 102, my 1996 is a 102 no slides. Seems like a 90" with opposing slides would be a little tight with the slides in for travel.

Still learning about the 2013 27n Vista, but can anyone help me with operating the DVD player? I can't seem to get it to play through the T.V. that's by the dinette. We don't have a T.V. above the drivers seat. Anyone know the correct procedure? Thanks in advance.
