2013 Adventurer 36’ Steering Vibration

Vibration while driving 45 miles per hour and up. What we have done so far and no improvement
New front and rear shocks
Front steering stabilizer
Rear sway bar
New tires and balanced
Drive shaft balance and checked
Any one have had this problem ? If so what did you do to fix?

You haven’t mentioned getting I wheel alignment. That seems to be something you should look at.

I didn’t have the vibration issue you mentioned but a good alignment helped with driving and some uneven tire wear I was seeing.

I took the RV to a semi truck tire and alignment shop and they did a great job. They were setup and used to dealing with big heavy vehicles.

Anyone have problems with 22.5 in Toyo tires. With what we have done RV handles wonderful just this steering wheel vibration still exists, We even got the tires balanced at another shop to double check and they were good

I have m154 Toyo 22.5 tires with no such problems. How about doing a front wheel balance on the hub? That balances the hub, brake disk, wheel all at once.

A few questions:
1. How did it drive before the new tires, who says it is not one of the tires that is off balance. If something is shifting when you are above 45 mph, that will cause the vibration.
2. How's the motor or transmission mounts, are they secure, solid and tight?
3. Instead of balancing the tires, may consider to get 4 wheel Centramatic Balancers, they will balance the whole axle wheel when you go over 20 mph, if one of the calipers assemblies is causing your problem.
4. You may consider that one wheel rim is bent or is not center on the hub, that can cause your vibration. It doesn't take much out of round to cause that problem. It would be a lot of work, but changing out one wheel at a time with the spare, will tell you if it is the rim out of round.
5. I have heard and read a few times, it is the tires. Changing out the tires to another design, has corrected the problem.
Yes, I know, these suggestion suck, but it is a problem, and you will have to do one at a time to isolate the problem to find it. Good Luck.....

With the engine running so that the power steering is energized, AND with the vehicle in Park with the Parking Brake set, have someone hold each of the four Ball Joints while an assistant wiggles the steering wheel back and forth 20 degrees. If there is the slightest looseness any one of them, that could cause the vibration above 45 mph.

It ended up being the differential off centered we did go through all the above nothing changed . This fixed about 80 % of shake and would have been from factory as there is less then 16000 miles on it . We will be doing a few tweaks to front end next week and will report on that.

I had the same issue with my 2025 36Z. I took it in for the recommended alignment and found that the rear thrust angle was off, it was at .35 degrees and the tolerance is .05. My motorhome only has 600 miles on it so I am currently dealing with Ford to get them to reimburse me for the repair once it is made. It sounds like that might have been your problem as well and there may be more out there who have the same issue.
