2012 Meridian 42E Water Leak

My coach has developed a leak in the bedroom. It's on the left side of the bed. Right in front of the nite stand. We've had a lot of rain but there is no place close to the wet spot for water to fall on. I pulled the register on the wall last nite. There is no sign of any leak on the sub floor on any of the pipes.
It has me stumped because only the carpet is wet. It's on the bottom part of the floor next to the raised portion about 1/2 way between the bed stand and the wall. I find it hard to believe that any water from under the floor could come up thru the plywood and soak the carpet.
And nope, no dogs!

AC vent overhead? Water penetrated and leaked thru the vent? That could be a real tough one. Wish I could be of more help.

Note even close to one and it's been too cold for A/C

Is the bed on a slide?

Was the slide in during the heavy rain? Any chance the water could have followed the bottom of the slide, then dripped onto the floor?

If it had been raining. Check to see if the slide top wipe seal has detached.
Shine a light under the slide out awning to inspect.

We had a mystery leak on the bed itself after a heavy rain while traveling. Only happened once, but we pretty well established that the wet area was directly under one of the AC suction vents while the slides were retracted, and apparently the firehose like downpour got into the ducts via the #2 AC somehow.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it...

As to water in the AC duct, We had that issue this summer 1 time while running the AC during a HEAVY down pour. Fast forward to last week when I was washing the roof. I noticed that the foam seal at the base of the AC where it's mounted to the roof had a small gap in it at the front of the AC. Suspect that this was the entry point for the wind blown rain, would also be an entry point when driving in the rain. I filled the gap with a white silicone caulk. Have to now wait till it's raining hard blowing in the right direction to see if this was the issue.
