2006 Journey instrument panel switch

Purchased '06 Journey. I don't know what the rocker switch in upper right hand corner of the instrument panel is for. Manuel doesn't have instrument panel diagram.

Well,
Maybe a picture might help some of us better identify what that switch is for. We have an '04 Itasca Horizon, 36GD with the C-7 330HP and, every one of the switches/rockers on the dash and surrounding area are labeled. Maybe the labeling has worn off or, it never was labeled in the first place or, is an add-on. But, in any case, a picture should help us, help you. Have you used it while the engine is running to see if there's any difference in anything or, without the engine running?

You mean the switch opposite to where the arrow is pointing, above the oil pressure gauge?

I think it is the switch that changes mile window from trip to total and zeros out and resets trip. Rkl

Assuming you're talking about the switch in the upper right corner referenced in the picture in the previous posting, the Freightliner Recreational Vehicle Chassis Operator's Manual calls that the Trip Meter Reset switch.

"A short press (less than three seconds) of the trip reset will toggle the display between the trip mode and odometer mode. A long press (greater than three seconds) of the trip reset while in trip mode will reset the tripmeter. The tripmeter can also be reset using the information center. The odometer will be displayed with six numbers and no decimal (000000), while the tripmeter will be displayed with four number and one decimal (0000.0)."

Can I ask what the doodad that the arrow is pointing at?

That switch blows the sidewall on the right side and ejects the nagivator.

That should be the dark red lens over the infrared(?) receiver for the stereo system remote mounted on the steering wheel.
