2005 Itasca Suncruiser 35u Wiper arm

Hi,

The washer fluid hose attachment point (nipple) on the passenger side wiper arm has broken so I can not get fluid sprayed on the windshield

Has anyone sourced this arm at a local parts shop? If so what is the part number (Amco, Trico, etc)?

Thanks,

Preston

Hi Preston;
I have the same problem and also looking for a local source, but I think it could be had from Winnebago (listed in parts cat.) not sure if you have to get the complete wiper arm ass`y or the bracket with nipple only.

take care

I tried to find the nipple only but didn't have any luck. I ended up getting the nipple and the shaft it connects to from my local Winnie dealer for $37.00. I checked a half dozen hardware stores and plumbing stores but everyone said they couldn't find a nipple that small. If someone finds a source for the nipple only I would like to know about it as I'm sure one of the 2 I have will break sometime in the future and I would order a couple just to have on hand for when I need them.

Not sure they are the same arms as on my coach, but they sound very similar. When a dealer messed mine up I called Lichtsinn Motors in Forest City, gave them my coach s/n, and they sold me two "windshield washer nozzle kits". The kit has a variety of plastic pieces and screws. Cost for each kit in 2007 was $10.25.

Thanks to all of you for all of your comments.

AFChap - the arm in question is in reality 2 arms - tied together at the wiper end by an approx 3 in bar about 5/8 in wide - at the end of the bar where the blade attaches is a plastic nipple to which the fluid hose is attached with a cap like fitting - is this what your arms look like?

If so, I will order one of these kits

Thanks

Preston

Sure sounds like the same ...I just took a look and mine are stamped at the bottom end "Dyna - Made in Brazil"

Add me to the list of folks interested in one of those wiper hose parts. I haven't really looked since when at speed the washer sprays up in the air and onto the windshield anyway. Still it would be good to have it working properly.

Thanks everyone for your input.

Aussie - what do you mean by GNR? I am not familiar with those initials

The washers do sorta kinda work but the spray pattern is marginally helpful. I will eventually get a nipple kit - probably when I hit Mission TX in Nov instead of ordering it from Canada

GNR is Winnebago`s GRAND NATIONAL RALLY at Forest City IA.
Sorry to say so we will not make it to the GNR this year.
