I'm thinking about how to better remodel my 2003 Itasca Sunova 27c to be able to solve an issue with the long travels with my kid. She has a motion sickness if she is not looking directly at the driver window. I've attached a floor plan for your reference. The only option now to travel with more than 2 people is to have her seat at the dinette sofa with only a lap belt. I'm thinking now about two options:
- Replace a lounge chair with captain chair with integrated seat belt
- Completely replace dinette with something safer and more comfortable
With option 1 the downside is that seat will be not forward-looking and I'm not sure that is safe to drive.
With option 2 I can't find any good sofa to fit the space and to be forward-looking too.
What are your thoughts? I'll appreciate any inspiration.
