Welcome to the forum! I'm sure some of our experts with experience on that rig will chime in soon.
Best of luck.

asharp,
We have an '04 Adventurer 37B that has been a very good coach. We had another brand, which I won't name, that was not built nearly as well as the Winnebago. The construction, fit and finish, cabinets, etc. have all been better than the other coach by a large margin. We have had a few issues that have been addressed in a satisfactory manner but that's to be expected in something that you drive down the road.
Good luck,
Dave

We have owned 3 Winnebago products as well as 2 that were not. Currently driving a 2002 Winnebago Adventurer 35U. Love it. Very well built. Downside on Winnebagos is that they tend to be heavy. This is because they are well built. Would buy another one in a second. Ours has the extra suspension package on it. Includes Bilstein shocks and sway bar and Davis Tru-track steering bar. Made a world of difference in how it handles. Looking at going diesel with an Itasca Meridian. It is a Winnebago product so I have faith it will be a good thing. Good Luck Mark

A good friend of mine has a 2004 33V. He likes it and I don't see much difference in living space between it and the 35'.

33V
We have a 2005 Adventurer 33V on a Workhorse chassis, and we like it a lot. Plenty of room, handles well, no problems.

Ours has been great. Just turned 80000 and everything still works.
Biggest disapointment is fogging windows, 4 in total.
Replaced tires in 2007 and slide toppers in 2008.
No major chassis issues since warranty expired, except brake recall.

We bought our 05 used two years ago. It had 22k miles on it then, and has 48k on it now. We've been to Yellowstone, Yosemite, San Diego, Vegas, Texas, points between, and back to Michigan, and currently in Florida. Price will really depend on the condition and what options the coach has. Check the tires to see how old they are. If the tires on the coach you are looking at are from 02 they are overdue for replacement, even if there is tread left. If you are looking at a coach from a dealer, you might offer to agre to their price if they throw in a new set of tires. Ours did. A new set could easily run you $3k installed.

We have a 04 Adventurer 33V on Workhorse Chassis. We purchased it in the ladder part of 2010 and used it for 6,000 miles and 27 nights in 2011.
So far so good as this is my first class A.
Best of luck with your decision.

I have had a Workhorse 2004 33v for 5 years. Driven about 30k miles with no major problems other than the Workhorse brake problems. It handles great, even better with Koni's. It has room for two or three adults and a few grandchildren.

I had a 2003 Brave in the same floor plan. We put 48000 miles on it before we traded it in for our Journey. The only reason that we traded it in was that my wife was having difficulty getting up and down the entrance steps. We loved the motorhome. It was on the Workhprse P32 chassis - GM chassis after Workhorse took it over - with the 8.1 liter engine and the GM 4 speed automatic. We towed a PT Cruiser with no problems. We took it on a 10,000 mile, two month trip to Alaska from Northern Ohio, and it was fine.
In addition to the tires, make sure that your mechanic checks the front end for worn bushings, etc.
I'm not familiar with the Ford chassis, but I'd check on the transmission and when to change any filters and the fluid.
Good luck, and I hope that if you get the motorhome that you'll enjoy it as much as we did ours.

We had a 2000 Adventure 37G and now have a 2007 Adventure 38T, we love the Adventure. The Workhorse and the Allison Tran is a good fit.
Good Luck
