Hey Jim, I have a 2004 Brave, 34D which I believe the lock may be the same.
You remove the three screws from the inside and then the 7/16 th nut from under the cover on the door, see the picture I hope. If not open the door and look for a plastic or rubber plug that is covering the hole. Remove it and use a deep socket 7/16 to remove the nut. This is the nut for adjusting how the lock engages the lock on the frame.
The large round hole in the door edge is where the 7/16 nut resides.
I replaced my lock with a keyless lock from
RVLOCK.com
I am very happy with it and if your locking mechanism looks like mine it should work. It is the Atlas model, comes with a couple of key fobs which my wife really likes.
If you go to their website, you can input your make and model and get the one made for it.
Hope this helps
