The wife and I are looking at the Ellipse. When shopping for insurance they ask if we have the 2 slide or 2 slide with Z package. I don't see any package designation on the window sticker. What's the differance?

"Z package" is where Winnebago bundles several popular options into one line item for the model, usually at a discount price over chosing each individually. Will vary model-to-model but often includes things like roof ladder, heated mirrors, a particular dining setup, outside entertainment center etc. Depends on which items are standard and which are options for each RV. Same as many car manufacturers do for various models.

I don't think a z package comes into the picture with an Ellipse, sounds like the ins co isn't familiar with motorhomes, go with a company that specializes in rv's
OK, Thanks for the replies. I was just curious about what the Z package was. I told them I didn't have it on this MH. I didn't want them adding to the cost for something I didn't have. It must come up on the big insurance company database in the sky when they look up how much to soak you.
