Hi Folks:
Just a note to let all know that replacing the oiler hub cap on the FLXC chassis costs $130 to $150 at the dealer and you can do it for under $20 yourself.
When the first one showed an oil spray-out on the wheel, I thought I had lost a wheel seal. The FL shop in Jackson, MS did a good job and noted that the hub cap oiler had leaked - they said that it is typical for the XC chassis and they replaced it for $150.
When I noticed that the other front wheel showed the familiar oil spray-out, I called the FL Oasis shop and spoke to Kirk Ault, SM. He said the part was common and there were only 6 1/2" bolts to remove to change it with a new one.
I picked up the part @ Chandler, AZ FL for $17.80 + a quart of 80W-90 gear oil for $3.00. The total job took 1 hour with most of it being cleaning off the old gasket. A 1/2" socket was the only tool required.
I saved over $125 by doing the job myself. Just thought someone might like to know.

Do you have any idea what is happening to make them start leaking? Do they get cracks or what? Did the FL dealer who replaced your first one give you any idea why it was leaking? Or do they just need a new gasket?

Hi Folks: In answer to the part #, it is CHR1612 Hub Cap.
As to the leakage, it is the gasket seal which is included in the Hub Cap Kit.
Please be careful on the torque up specs (12 - 16 ft/lbs) as the Hub Cap is plastic and can easily crack or break if tightened too tight. Also use the opposing bolt tightenting method, much like a tire is mounted and tightened.
The fill cap unscrews to allow for filling the cap, once installed. It also has torque specs which are printed on the cap.
One last item is to fill the cap 3/4 full as indicated on the see-through window and allow for gear oil filling time to the bearing cavity. I had to add a little more 80W-90 gear oil 5 times before the liquid level stabilized.
I also checked the liquid level the next day before popping the chrome cap back on.
