Winnebago Journey Battery Diagram

Took our Chassis (start) batteries out of our 2005 Winnebago Journey, thought I labelled them perfectly but low and behold I have a stranger it is black so I assume a ground but a ground on battery post or came loose from a frame ground?
Hoping someone has a schematic drawing or possibly someone who could take a picture from the same unit as ours just to see if belongs on the negative side rear battery.

Unit starts without it connected

Any help?

Thanks very much for your info, tried the manuals prior to your message but there are extra cables going to the battery other than what is shown in the diagram. It is a heavy guage cable. Have 2 Batteries for the chassis start system

Welcome to the forum! We're sure glad you joined us!

Sorry I can't help with your questions. You will get far better results on questions like this if you post them over in the specific areas of the forum. Not many folks hang out here in the Welcome area. Problem is, forum rules prohibit posting the same questions in different areas, but maybe one of the Moderators will move this over for you! Enjoy the forum!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

:welcome: I know someone here will inspire you.

Please post a picture of what you are looking at. The Freightliner wire will not be in the Winne drawing.

One heavy wire could be from the alternator. This is to go to one of the + terminals on the batteries. It is much smaller than the starter cable but still heavy. Your batteries are to be wired in parallel, positive to positive and negative to negative.

No needed. You'll get it right.
