Hi, all! We are newbies to this Winnebago Vista. Need help in how TVs communicate with "Jack" roof antenna. Says no signal with no sound.
Thanks in advance!!

Is the TV input set for antenna? Is the antenna power booster switch On, it's located near the connection to the main TV.

Think it's all ON!

Thx. Guess more of reading manuals. Assuming main TV is next to Dinette? All seems on. Tried different input choices.

A much more specific reply than "All seems on" would allow us to give much better help. Specifically which buttons are you pushing?

Is the power button for the antenna pressed? Usually there is a red light showing that power should be going to the antenna.

Did you get up on the roof and check the coax on the antenna.

Above are some of the details you could give to get better assistance.

Your profile says your 27N is a 2014 model. In the front cabinet above the passenger seat on the right wall you will find a wall plate with a small button switch. It switches between Roof Antenna and the Basement Cable TV jack. If the LED on the wall plate is lit it is set to roof antenna and it feeds 12 volts to the roof antenna to power its signal booster. If the LED on the wall plate is not lit then it is set to use the basement CATV jack.

Good luck.

My 2014 says "No signal found" - until I turn on the amp over the passenger seat, AND ALSO set the TV to scan for channels.

It has to scan for channels, or it will say "no signal found".

But first, aim the antenna in the ceiling using the 4 LED lights - the more lights, the better the aim. There is also slider switch on the Jack antenna on the ceiling to turn on the 4 lights.

Let us know.

i have a 2013 Sunstar 27n, the roof satellite has to be optioned via dip switches to Direct, Dish etc. So if you have changed TV or TV service those settings likely need changed. Yes the switch in the cabinet over the passenger needs to be turned on/off when watching TV but my unit has a rocker switch low and left of the steering wheel that is not mentioned in my book. it controls power to all tv hardware. Surprise, surprise!
