Question Unknown switch!

I have a Winnebago Ultimate Advantage from a few months.

On the driver side, above the keypad of the transmission, in my RV there is a button whose function ignore.

In the vehicle handbook and diagrams there is no trace.

I tried to activate it but apparently nothing happens.

I enclose a photograph. The button is circled in red.

Can someone help me?

What it is?

Thanks in advance!

That looks like the switch that Freightliner uses to reset the trip odometer. If so, a quick press resets the trip odometer and holding the switch down for several seconds toggles between miles and kilometers.

The mirror heater is under the keypad transmission.

Slowmachine, maybe confused with the button at the top right?

See you in the picture attached, always circled in red.

Yes. It looks like the same type of switch, but the one on the instrument panel should be the odometer reset.

Sometimes there is a rear space heater fan, like for a back bedroom, that runs off the engine water.... many times not marked.

Another possibility is the emergency start switch, kicking in the house batteries to the starter motor...

I pick these two because a lot of times they are unmarked.

My bets are that it is an aftermarket switch installed by the previous owners.

Can you post a better picture of just the switch? Maybe we can decipher the emblem that was used.

Tony65, can you see the wire numbers on the wires going to the switch? The one, two or three letters at the end of the wire number will identity what the wire is used for.

If there is no marked exhaust brake on/off it's a logical location.

My guess is aftermarket installation. My panel is identical to yours, except for that mini-rocker switch. grharris has the best suggestion for IDing the switch function.

I also was thinking fog lights. Be interested in knowing, after you find out.

As a WAG could it be a radio/TV speaker switch? On my RV the switch is in a cabinet to the passenger side of the TV - often forget to switch the speakers from TV to radio and have to pull of the road to get up to flip the switch. A friend added or moved the switch from the upper cabinet to the dash for convenience. I'm also interested in hearing about your switch, I appear to have the same dash.
