TV Viewing Angle

My 2008 Meridian 37H has an LCD TV in the bedroom. While lying in bed and watching TV, you cannot see it very well. If you sit up high on stand up, you can see it clearly.

It needs to be angled down, but I haven't seen anywhere it can be adjusted. Any suggestions, other than going back to the dealer and having them fix it?

Take it back!!

It's not doing what it is designed to do.

Or, if ya want to be nice, call the Mfg. and get their opinion.

I would suggest that you loosen the TV mounting strap, insert a couple of angled wedges to get it to the angle you want and retighten the mounting strap.

Thanks for the responses. I called Winnebago and they said they hadn't gotten any complaints about it. He suggested shimming the mounting points.

It's going back to the dealer for initial issues fixes. If he can't do anything about the TV, I'll tackle it.

I just purchased a 2008 Journey and the bedroom TV isn't receiving any digital pictures via the antenna. Before 6/12/09 we did get cable but was a bad picture, the angle was bad as you have said in one of your postings, The RCA TV in the galley area is the best picture we have ever seen on a TV. With the antenna, we get several channels in the galley but can't get any picture in the bedroom. Any suggestions?

I had the same problem with reception on the bedroom TV in my Winne as vaboy40. The Winegard selector box was wired wrong from the factory. If you have the Winegard selector box, have the dealer check all of the coax connections.

I am picking mine up tomorrow. When I took it in for service, I made the complaint about the viewing angle again. They replaced the TV this time. We'll see if it improves anything.
