TV Connections HDMI, Component 2014 Vista 27N

My HDMI cable connectors are broken and I am trying to utilize the Component cables but they are not working is there another connector between the component cables in the front and before the tv? Has anyone had this issue?

Model and year of your RV might help you get an answer.

Plus info on your TVs, and your RV's entertainment system.

In general... a bunch of more info.

This should be your Wiring for that portion of the RV.

Note that there is a list at top left of first sheet with info on which sheets apply to the 27N! Try to ignore those sheets which apply to other models of the Vista! More than enough confusion when looking at the cORRECT sheets!!

I think part of what you will need will be on sheets 6 and 7.
a part to reading these drawings is to be aware of which options you have on your specific RV and you will have to sort that as we don't know much about how many Tv and locations. etc to look for info.
On sheet 6, there is a list of potential options to consider which you may have. That list relates back to the "bubbles" on the drawing where connections for the various options may change things.

JRF, it looks like the HDMI cables go direct to the TV. But the component video signals in many configurations are routed through a video distribution splitter. Also keep in mind if you are not the first owner of this RV, that previous owners frequently make changes to the stock video cabling.
Thanks Richard for the link to the drawings!

You can find the video distribution splitter behind the carpet panel in the cupboard over the passenger seat. There is a wall wart power supply plugged in in that cupboard, and following the line from that, you will find the splitter. Maybe it is just unplugged.

Also, under the drawer under the refrigerator, there are lots of component cables.

Having said all that, I would not try to resurrect this system. The quality sucks.

You can get long HDMI cables online, and just string new HDMI over the dinette slide. Long HDMI cables can be directional, because they have little amps in them. Watch for that.

Failing that, you can get small HDMI transmitters and receivers, and connect wirelessly between the source and your TVs.

Anything but go back to component cabling...That's my 2 cents.

In my 2015 Vista 27N the Component and HDMI cables don't both go to any one TV...

In the case of my 2015 Vista 27N the HDMI cable goes to the main room TV and the 6 wire "component or composite" cable ( the six are R G B CompVid L_Aud R_Aud ) goes to the back. I can't remember if it ended on the Bedroom TV or the Outside TV. Because I put an active component video 1 to 2 splitter so I could feed both the Bedroom and Outside TVs from the component video + audio outputs on my Sat Receiver.

I think you might need to change the input on the TV, if you haven't already.
