This is a good one...I'm perplexed
Hi Friends. Here’s my quandary. I exercised my generator last Sunday and forgot to switch the plug (NO ATS) back to shoreline—so it ran off the inverter when I shut off the generator.
I have 4x100 amp Battle Born Lithium batteries.
When I finally realized it was unplugged, the batteries were drained and no longer supplying any power. This was almost exactly 36 hours later, as my Ring camera went offline when the power died so I knew when it occurred.
I had checked the readings on my Victron (below), and the current draw matched up with the ~11 amp draw and the batteries being exhausted after 36 hours—so that I understand.
Running during that period were several things—Residential refrigerator, dehumidifier, and some other smaller things.
What I’m trying to rectify, is why is my Watchdog Pro app saying there are ~3 amps being drawn by the RV, (via the 30 amps shoreline plug), yet ~11amps showing on the Victron as leaving the batteries. OR, is the Victorian showing 11 amps going INTO the batteries? And how could 11amps be going in when it would have to come through the Watchdog that says only 3 are coning in—remember—I’m still on shoreline power now…
Thanks—my head hurts…

You have 3.2 amps AC and 11 amps DC the AC is ~120V the DC ~12V a factor of ~10.
look at the watts IxE AC W = 310 DC W = 150 160 W going elsewhere.

Many people do not know this. On a different RVing forum a man about had a fit when he found out his 5,000W inverter and one 12V battery would not run his air conditioner, as the seller told him.

Judging by the responses I guess it’s safe to assume everyone is as perplexed as I?

In my experience, RV batteries and power output are a real mystery that take time for owners to come to terms with.
And, it's not just batteries, it's shore power, generator power, appliances and charging times.
For so long we've lived in houses with unlimited - it seems - power to run everything on demand and it's instructed us all that this is the case everywhere.
I went the first 10 years of my RV experience, maybe longer, before getting even an inkling of what's involved in running my RV.
What I have always said is, you can't know what you do not know until you know it.

Here is what I think, though I am far from an expert. There is 3amps of 120v power coming into the RV. Of that the converter/inverter is replacing the 11amps of 12v power used by 12v devices. The remainder is used to power the inverter/charger and other 120v devices.

Wyatt, while this 2 page article was written for Lead Acid batteries, it is a good primer for refreshing your memory of the hows and whys of an RV 12V system. https://marxrv.com/12volt/12volt.htm

Can I ask why the inverter was on?
What you have described is one of the reasons I don't exercise my genny in the sense of just letting it run a short period of time. I don't have fancy 2000W Plus Inverter or solar but if I need popcorn/microwave the genny is on for 10 minutes
Also and you may remember, I wired my EC-30 fully per Onan Installation manual, and my genny will auto shutdown or not start is Shorepower is present. Think of it as a Pre Auto Power Transfer Switch before the ATS switch.
Last night while boondocking I had a perfect example of my genny runny (exercising) without my input.
I had ACs running earlier in the day (81 degrees outside) Boston Mtns; by the forecast; it was hit to lows 40s last night, so I shut down ACs and set Heater ON - 76 degrees
I left on foot around 5:00PM ( My AGS was Set to AUTO ON) It got cold and I came back around 11:00 PM and coach was warm, Fridge running and I wasn't aware of any pending issue. So, I go to bed, and at 12:15AM the genny fires up Turns out House batteries had dropped to 12.4VDC !!! I am guessing the blower fans from heater was draining the battery, I let genny run plugging in my small electric heater to give the genny more load, also put Fridge back to Electric from propane. 2 1/2 hrs later the genny shutdown and I had full charge on House batteries. I put every thing back to propane and by 8:00 AM, I was still showing full charge
